Sagrada Familia's temple:
The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, shortened as the Sagrada Família, is an under construction church in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
It is the largest unfinished Catholic church in the world. Designed by architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on Sagrada Família is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On 7 November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.
On 19 March 1882, construction of the Sagrada Família began under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar.
In 1883, when Villar resigned, Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms.
Gaudí devoted the remainder of his life to the project, and he is buried in the church's crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was complete.

How do you select the subjects for your fine art prints?
Selecting the subjects for our fine art prints of La Sagrada Família is a deeply personal and intuitive process. I am guided by a passion for capturing the essence of Gaudí's masterpiece, focusing on elements that evoke emotion and tell a story. Each subject is chosen for its ability to convey the unique character and spiritual significance of the basilica. For instance, a print might feature the intricate stained glass windows that cast a kaleidoscope of colors on the interior walls, or the towering spires that reach towards the sky, symbolizing the aspirations of humanity. These subjects are selected to offer a deeper connection to the art and architecture, allowing viewers to appreciate the craftsmanship and vision behind the creation.
In addition to the iconic elements, I also capture the more subtle and often overlooked aspects of La Sagrada Família. A fine art print might showcase the delicate carvings on the columns, the serene expression of a statue, or the way light filters through the windows, creating a sense of tranquility and awe. By focusing on these details, the prints offer a more intimate and personal perspective, inviting viewers to explore the basilica's beauty beyond its most recognizable features. Each print is a testament to the enduring legacy of Antoni Gaudí and the timeless allure of his architectural genius.
What techniques do you use to create your fine art prints?
Creating our fine art prints is a meticulous and multi-faceted process that combines traditional photography with advanced digital techniques. I begin with high-resolution digital captures, using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that every detail is crisp and vibrant. This initial step is crucial, as it sets the foundation for the entire creative process. Once I have the raw images, I move into the post-production phase, where I employ a range of software tools to enhance and refine the photographs. This includes adjusting colors, contrast, and sharpness to bring out the best in each image, as well as applying subtle effects to add depth and dimension. My approach is always to enhance the natural beauty of the scene without overpowering it, ensuring that the final print remains true to the original vision.
In addition to digital enhancements, I often incorporate elements of traditional art techniques into my prints. This might involve adding hand-drawn elements, textures, or even collage-like layers to create a unique and textured finish. These additions are carefully integrated to complement the photographic elements, resulting in a print that is both modern and timeless. Each print is then carefully printed on high-quality, archival paper, ensuring that the colors and details remain vivid and true for years to come. The final step is the framing process, where I select frames that not only protect the print but also enhance its aesthetic appeal. Whether it's a sleek modern frame or a more rustic, classic style, the framing is chosen to complement the print and the space in which it will be displayed. This attention to detail ensures that each fine art print is a true work of art, ready to be cherished and enjoyed for generations.
