The proximity to the Fangar tip:
The Fangar lighthouse is a luminous tower that indicates to the ships the proximity of the Fangar tip.
The light it projects, white, is seen intermittently every 12 seconds and has a range of up to 12 miles offshore.
It can also be seen from a large part of the Ebro delta, especially from nearby beaches such as Los Eucaliptos, El Aluet or La Marquesa.
It has a height of 20 meters and a diameter of 3. The current construction dates from 1972. To carry out maintenance tasks, it can be accessed through a small door attached to the base of the platform that includes a small section of stairs.
Due to its uniqueness and how it stands out in the arid environment, the Fangar lighthouse is one of the most characteristic architectural and landscape symbols of the Tierras del Ebro.
