Today it was August 13, 2023**. We’ll go to Gariguella town in Alt Empordà region at north of Catalonia, Girona.
A week ago, in our holidays, mi girlfriend called by phone to their parents, explain how we’re funny was visiting some towns of Alt Empordà region.
My father in law surprised us explaining to us a tribute that they would pay him in the town of Garriguella.
64 years ago, when he was young, he did his military service in Garriguella. He was the last Garriguella’s soldier.
Some inhabitants there, especially Guillem Plujà, were eager to receive him and honor those years by making a tribute. And they did a tribute addressed to my father-in-law that you can read here.
I’ll write about the tribute in next post, so in this one, you can view my girlfriend and her father in the picture.
We rested at Llançà town, next to French border, having lunch and later having an ice cream. After the ice cream we went to Garriguella.
So, I’ve written this post to remember this day.
